Surface-mounted tracks are installed similarly to ceiling lamps, which are directly mounted on the ceiling and are fixed by top screws:
✅The advantage is that there is no need to make grooves in advance, and the track can be installed without a suspended ceiling;
✅The disadvantage is that no matter how thin the track is, it will still be exposed, and it is not as simple as the embedded one;
There are also several different types of embedded tracks, some are directly embedded, and some are fixed by a sealing plate:
✅I recommend choosing a model fixed by a sealing plate, so that there is a layer of gypsum board covering it, and there is no need to worry about the plaster falling off:
Power drive
There are two types to choose from: embedded and pre-embedded
The embedded power supply can be directly embedded in the track like a lamp accessory. The advantage is that it is easy to install, maintain and replace;
The pre-embedded one is more flexible, but an inspection port needs to be reserved, which is a little more troublesome to replace;
