According to the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the "Architectural Lighting Design Standard" numbered GB/T50034-2024 was officially released recently and will be officially implemented on August 1 this year. When this standard is officially implemented, the original national standard "Architectural Lighting Design Standard" GB50034-2013 will also be abolished.
Compared with the 2013 version of the standard, the new version of the "Architectural Lighting Design Standard" has made detailed modifications to the main technical content, improving the efficiency of lamps, lighting power density and other energy-saving index requirements; adding performance indicators of LED lamps and LED lamps respectively. , technical requirements such as LED drive power supply selection and application, technical indicators of healthy lighting such as lighting comfort, photobiological safety, flicker and stroboscopic effects, non-visual effects, lighting DC power distribution technical content, outdoor functions within the red line of the building land Lighting technology content; supplements and improves the technical content of intelligent lighting control systems; and adjusts some technical content of standards based on practical applications.
It is reported that this standard was formulated on the basis of the original "Architectural Lighting Design Standard" in order to implement the current national technical and economic policies in architectural lighting design, meet the functional needs of the building, and be beneficial to production, work, study, life and physical and mental health. It must be technologically advanced, economically reasonable, safe to use, energy-saving and environmentally friendly, and easy to maintain, so as to promote the innovative development of the two major lighting subdivisions of green lighting and healthy lighting.
