What Factors Are Related To The Life Of LED Line Lights?

LED line lights are LED wall washer series aluminum profile lamp bodies. They are compact and lightweight. The end caps and mounting brackets are made of aluminum alloy high-pressure die-casting and high-temperature resistant silicone rubber sealing rings to ensure waterproof reliability. Lamps can be installed individually or in combination. Suitable for various buildings, indoor and outdoor local or contour lighting.

When it rains or snows and when the lights are turned off for a rest, the temperature inside the LED line lamp will drop sharply. The sharp drop in temperature will cause pressure or even a greater vacuum inside the lamp shell. At this time, air or moisture will sneak into the lamp body through the sealing gap and condense into water droplets. Once water droplets are generated in the sealed lamp body, it is not easy to be discharged. Water droplets that cannot be discharged for a long time will corrode electronic components in the lamp body, seriously affecting the life of the LED line lamp.

If there is no need to consider the failure of the drive and power supply, one of the manifestations of the life of high-power LED line lamps is: "light decay", which means that the longer it is used, the lower its brightness will be until the life is exhausted and the lamp is turned off.

LED line lights usually use aluminum as the radiator. The larger the contact area between the radiator and the air, the better. This is conducive to heat dissipation, stable operation of the whole lamp, low light decay and long life. The bulb and ceiling spotlight should not have too large air holes to prevent mosquitoes from crawling in during use, affecting the lighting effect or causing unnecessary damage.

For the problem of glue filling, the silicone under the glass surface should be thicker. If it is too thin, it will affect the solidification effect. Secondly, many people ask how to cover the glass. Because of the different forces, the amount of silicone pressed under the glass is also different. Here we require a tighter compression. There is also a problem about the waterproof breathable valve. Some high-end styles will use it. The principle of the waterproof breathable valve is to prevent water from entering but allow air to enter. On rainy days, when the LED line lights are rapidly cooled by rain, the waterproof breathable valve can accelerate the temperature inside and outside the lamp body to be consistent, so that the pressure change will not be too drastic, avoid damaging the internal components of the lamp body, and usually it is also conducive to heat dissipation and accelerate air convection. With these points, a well-made LED line light can easily achieve an effect above IP65.

The color of high-quality LED line lights must be the same, and there will be no yellow light or other light colors. If you don't know how to distinguish, I can teach you a little trick. Just turn on these lights and observe the changes in their light colors to get the answer you want. Due to the high brightness of LED line lights, it is difficult to judge the brightness of two brands of the same type of lights under the same conditions by observing them directly with the eyes. At the same time, this can easily damage eyesight. We usually recommend covering the light source with a piece of white paper, and then comparing it after the white paper attenuates the light. This way it is easier to see the difference in brightness of the lights, and the higher the brightness, the better.
