How to design hotel guest room lighting?

Hotel guest room lighting is very similar to home lighting without main lights, which is a combination of functional lighting, atmosphere lighting and decorative lighting.

But there are many different situations that need to be considered;

The biggest difference is the end user: hotels serve most people who travel for a short period of time, mainly serving adults, and will not set up special devices to take care of certain groups;

Residences serve families for long-term residence, with various needs, including the elderly, children, single nobles, young couples, middle-aged pillars, all ages, various living conditions, and various needs;

Hotel lighting design has a model room to test the results and change the design, while home lighting needs to be analyzed one by one in advance and difficult to change afterwards.

Guest room lighting, like home lighting, must match the scene and will also be part of the whole house intelligence. Of course, hotel guest rooms are one step more advanced in intelligence. After all, the guest control system has been implemented for many years.

Let's talk about color temperature first. The guest rooms are all uniformly set to 2700k. After all, the guest rooms are mainly used as bedrooms.

For residential buildings, it depends on the situation. There are 3000k~3500k. For elderly rooms and children's rooms at home, 3500k is required. It also depends on the situation. Specific problems should be analyzed specifically.

Power: Downlight, 5~8w, 7, 8w for higher floor height, 5, 6w for lower floor height.

Light strip, generally 6w/m, 10w/m~15w/m for functional requirements.

1. Door headlight

Home door headlights have one more function than guest room door headlights: camera lighting needs. In addition to installing a downlight at the door head, it is best to have a wall lamp or other lighting to supplement the vertical lighting of the face.

Residential: basic lighting, put bags and change shoes;

Beam angle: 36°~60°; large angle;

Luminous flux: larger can be selected, there is a need to identify objects and see evacuation maps.

2) Illuminate the artwork at the bedside;

Beam angle: small to medium angle, selected according to the size of the artwork

3) When there is no dedicated reading lamp, it can be used as a reading lamp and installed on the outside of the ceiling above the pillow to avoid direct exposure to the human eye;

Residential: Generally, there is no need for bedside reading, but different rooms have bed lighting needs;

1) Master bedroom, there is less need for bedside reading lighting,

However, there is a special case. When there are children who do not sleep in separate beds at home, a large-angle downlight needs to be installed above the bed. Reading picture books, playing and playing all require lighting. It is installed in the middle of the bed or near the end of the bed.

2) Elderly room

For the elderly room, it is not recommended to have no main light. There needs to be a main light above the bed to ensure basic lighting;

When the elderly are in bed, they may need bedside lighting, and they can choose to install a steering downlight.

3) It is not recommended to have no main light in the children's room. There needs to be a main light in the middle of the room to ensure basic lighting;
