Due to the changes in the international trade pattern and the increase in uncertainty in overseas markets, my country's lighting industry has actively adjusted its foreign trade structure, and on the basis of consolidating the original market, it has continued to explore overseas markets in emerging countries, and has achieved gratifying results. It is worth noting that as the demand in the European and American markets continues to shrink, emerging market countries have become an important force in promoting my country's lighting exports, and the "Belt and Road" joint construction of the country has become a new growth point to drive my country's lighting exports.
2023 is the tenth anniversary of my country's "One Belt, One Road" initiative. Over the past ten years, my country's lighting industry's exports to countries co-constructed by the "Belt and Road" have continued to grow and maintained a good development momentum. In 2023, my country's lighting industry's exports to the "One Belt, One Road" co-building countries continued the growth trend of the past five years, with exports reaching US$24.5 billion, another record high, a year-on-year increase of 2%, accounting for 44% of my country's total lighting product exports. Compared with 2013, it has increased by nearly 2.2 times, compared with 2022, it has increased by 4 percentage points, and compared with 2013, it has increased by 16 percentage points.
